Near holiday time in 2006, expect to see the latest version of Microsoft Windows - called Vista - on the store shelves. Windows Vista is a major upgrade from Windows XP and you should take some time now to learn about some of the new features and requirements.
In this show, Microsoft Technology Specialist Brian Gorbett explains the difference between Windows Vista and Longhorn and then explains some of the new features we can expect in Vista.
Users will be introduced to a new user interface and while some of the new, cool features might not be available on an older PC, Vista is supposed to scale to your hardware so it will still run.
Network admins and techies will like some of the new features like bitlocker encryption, a new networking stack and having users run as regular users rather than admins.
