By now you know that the next version of Windows, Windows Vista, will be out sometime probably in the beginning of 2007. Along with Vista will be a new release of Microsoft Office - Office 12 or Office 2007. This will include new versions of all your standard apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and so on.
With the new ribbon user interface and new file formats, you will need a new mindset and may have some transition issues with the upcoming version.
